Understanding who you are

Knowing who you are and how you work can seem like a daunting task. When major stress, life transitions, or emotional upheaval occur, it can leave you grasping to understand how the things you’re going through impact who you are as an individual, and how you see yourself.

Explore who you’ve been, who you are, and who you want to become.

Identity is a dynamic force rather than a fixed experience. Who we are changes as we learn more, have new experiences, and discover new things about ourselves. When working on identity development, we will focus on getting to know each of the parts that make you who you are, and work to gain a better understanding of how they fit together into a cohesive whole.

We will begin by looking at who you have been in the past, how those versions of yourself inform your present, and then seek to find the most effective way to work towards who you want to become in the future. We will examine strengths and weaknesses, and create a plan for you to effectively address growth areas around your sense of self, your relationships, and your unique goals.

James helped me understand how all the parts of myself fit together, even when I couldn’t see it myself. I am proud of the person I am and confident in who I am becoming.
